Miraculous Ladybug Funny Comic Either You Make Her Your Wife or She Becomes Your New Mother

Miraculous Ladybughas garnered a rather dedicated fanbase, and this isn't without reason. The main cast of characters are entertaining and fun to watch on-screen. The nature of Ladybug's power garners intrigue as to just how she'll manage to creatively save the day- plus, pretty much all of the heroes costume designs are beautiful, inspiring both the fan-artist and cosplayer communities.

However, that doesn't mean the show is flawless- after all, nothing can be. From certain characters' actions to the way that episode distribution is handled and even aspects about how the animation of the show is handled, there's a lot aboutMiraculous Ladybugthat simply doesn't make much sense.

9 How Haven't Marinette And Adrien Been Caught Transforming?

There are plenty of instances where Marinette and Adrien transform in incredibly close proximity to each other. Maybe it's a locker or a closed elevator that separates them and stops them from seeing one another. But sometimes, they transform in broad daylight simply by crouching behind a bench or hiding behind a building.

It's pretty unbelievable that Marinette and Adrien haven't been caught during their transformation sequences before. At the very least, someone should have heard them shouting their catchphrases by now and been able to recognize them by voice.

8 Chloe Was Made Sympathetic, But She Wasn't Meant To Be Redeemed

Chloe begins incredibly antagonistic towards Marinette, and she constantly pushes herself on Adrien despite him not seeming to care much for such advances. She even treats her so-called best friend horribly.

But in Season 2, especially after fans get a glimpse of how her mother treats her and she spends time both making mistakes and repenting as Queen Bee, she becomes a fan-favorite, and fans desperately want to see her redeemed. However, it's noted by the writers that she isn't meant to be a redeemable character, and she goes right back to being evil, so why give her sympathetic moments to begin with?

7 Trying To Get Into The Show For The First Time Can Be Horribly Confusing

Marinette gets a flower from Cat Noir in the Miraculous Ladybug episode Weredad

Trying to get intoMiraculous Ladybugfor the first time requires a wiki page pulled up with the correct episode order. This isn't an exaggeration, either.Miraculous'appearance on Netflix brought with it an influx of new fans, but the episode order is horribly incorrect.

"The Bubbler" is the first episode listed on Netflix, but it's actually the ninth episode in production order! The actual first episode of the series is "Stormy Weather" which doesn't premiere until two episodes later if one is simply following Netflix's order, which can lead to certain events not making sense.

6 Cat Noir's In The Title, But Constantly Gets Passed Over, Especially In Later Seasons

Miraculous: Cat Noir's Kwami Hides an Apocalyptic Secret

The show is titled Tales Of Ladybug & Cat Noir, but as time goes on, it feels less and less like Adrien is a central character. Ladybug consistently seems to pass him up for other characters, even one's she's shown not to be nearly as close to.

The show seems to know it too. Adrien even begins having internal conflicts about not being important to Ladybug and feeling replaceable by her. She doesn't seem to take these feelings too seriously, and it all feels a little strange.

5 Marinette's Unhealthy Obsession With Adrien Is Played Off As Cute When It's Incredibly Creepy

WhenMiraculous Ladybugfirst began, Marinette's crush on Adrien could accurately be described as cute-yet-awkward. However, it seems the writers don't really understand the difference between a cute crush and full-on stalking.

In the later seasons, Marinette is fine doing things such as stealing his personal property and sneaking into his room. She even knows the boy's entire schedule, down to every hour of every day, and instead of finding this a horrid invasion of privacy- which it is!- Kagami instead states that it's one reason why the two are perfect together.

4 A Handful Of Different Studios Handle Animation, Leading To Wildly Inconsistent Quality

Miraculous Future Ladybug & Cat Noir Came to the Present

Though it's classified as a French cartoon, the animation forMiraculous Ladybugis actually all outsourced In fact, four different studios have handled animation for the show as of Season 4.

These studios are SAMG Animation- heralded as the best, but no longer work with the show- DQ Entertainment, Symbiosis Studio, and Assemblage Entertainment. This leads to wildly different levels of quality between episodes, and as soon as it's noticed it's pretty hard to ignore. Why the series hasn't stuck to one animation studio is unclear, but it can harm the quality of the series.

3 Why Is Marinette Given So Much Responsibility While Only Being A Developing Teenager?

Having Marinette be the holder of the Ladybug Miraculous at only fourteen- the most important and powerful of them all- is already a bit of a stretch. Master Fu makes the decision to entrust her with it after he feigns injury and she helps him- and while this is an indicator of a kind heart, it's not an indicator of how much responsibility she can handle.

This is especially true after she becomes the sole holder of the Miraculous Box as well. Her close relationships become incredibly shaky or even begin to crumble altogether, and she's seen panicking under the weight of such immense responsibility.

2 Plagg In-Universe Is Responsible For The Extinction Of The Dinosaurs And The Sinking Of Atlantis

plagg from miraculous ladybug

Kwamis are known to be unable to control their powers if they don't have an owner reigning them in. For Plagg, the Kwami of destruction, this means he's been responsible for acts such as the extinction of the dinosaurs and the sinking of Atlantis.

It just feels a bit... strange for these to be the examples of destruction that the show chooses to go with. Aside from briefly being mentioned in Plagg's backstory, it's never brought up, and having him be delegated to a comedic relief character after causing such mass chaos doesn't feel right, either.

1 The Kwamis Are Given Origin Stories That Feel Like They Result In More Questions Than Answers

tikki in marinettes bag miraculous

The Kwamis might seem like ultra-magical beings that appear out of nowhere with the ability to grant their users superpowers. And even with their official origin stories, this is still pretty much the case.

Tikki was brought into the universe as soon as the concept of creation was, and Plagg was birthed from the concept of destruction. It's fitting for their powers but doesn't actually explain much about where or how they originally came to be. Is there more to the Kwamis that will be revealed? Only time will tell.
